Wordpress-to-TypePad Converter

This tool is designed to convert the XML file exported by WordPress into a text file to be imported into Typepad. The specifications for the TypePad import file are laid out here. The fields that can be imported (that is, the ones that exist both in Wordpress's export format and Typepad's import format) are:

Title of post
Author of post
Date of post
Category of post
Body of post
Comments:
- Title of comment
- Author of comment
- Trackback URL
- IP Address comment was sent from
- Date of comment
- Email address of commentor
- Body of comment

If it's not in that list, the tool can't bring it over.

Choose a XML-based WordPress export file (8MB or less) to translate to the text-based TypePad import format.

(Note: The XML format exported by WordPress occasionally changes without our knowledge, so please let us know via the e-mail link at the left if you encounter any problems. Attaching a copy of your XML file would be very helpful in diagnosing the problem.)
